Data Folder could not be found
There should be ‘Raid_Data’
folder next to the executable
Just started seeing this today using Plarium Play on desktop. re-installing didn’t fix this.

I have the same problem.В Do you know how to fix this.
Has anyone a fix for this as started today on me.
Cleared cache and re-installed using keep data.
Game still won’t load. Folder IS there.

I have the same problem as described above.
It happened this morning when I tried to launch the game.В It said «updating» and then gave me the above error message.
The data folder is present.В GameAssebly.dll is in between Raid_Data and the executable, but that shouldn’t cause the problem.
When suggesting to empty cache I am unsure which portion of cache to empty.В I am worried that I will loose account information.
Please advise specific steps to solve this problem.
Fix: Can’t find AppData Folder Windows 10
Application data (or AppData) is a folder present in the Windows operating system which contains data created by programs and applications. Almost every program you install on your computer creates an entry in the AppData folder to store its information and configuration.
Application Data (AppData) folder
Even though you might not need the folder if you are a regular user, it comes handy when you are transferring information about applications between two computers. You can copy the configuration stored for Google Chrome from one computer to another just by copying its entry.
Despite its usefulness, we came across several cases where users reported that they were unable to find the AppData folder on their Windows. By default, the folder is hidden in your operating system and might not be easily accessed if you do not know the tricks.
Method 1: Accessing using %appdata%
Normally the AppData folder resides in your user folder which is the same directory that contains all your documents, music, pictures, etc. However, instead of navigating through the File Explorer to the specific location, you can easily use roaming to access the folder.
We use roaming because the %appdata% environment variable doesn’t actually point to the exact AppData folder. Instead, it points to the roaming folder inside the AppData which consists of the bulk of all application data.
Method 2: Using Windows Explorer
Another way to access the Application Data folder is using the Windows Explorer to navigate to the exact directory. Normally, you will not find the AppData folder in your User Profile page because it is hidden by default. We will change the hidden settings and then access the file location. Make sure that you are logged in as an administrator.
Here
Accessing AppData using Windows Explorer
What to do if AppData Folder is Missing?
If you cannot access the Application Data (AppData) folder using any of the two methods above, it probably means there is some problem with your operating system. Your applications might not be working properly and may fail to initialize.
To remedy this, you can perform a system restore and choose a recent restore point. Make sure that you select a recent restore point which was taken the latest and then work your way outwards.
System Restore
If system restore doesn’t work, you probably need to create a new profile on Windows and see if the folder is present there. Whenever a new profile is created, a new AppData folder is created on your computer. Make sure that you perform all the steps and only transfer all the data when you are sure the new profile isn’t without any issues.
If even creating a new profile doesn’t work, you should backup your data and do a clean installation of Windows on your computer. Your system/installation files are most probably corrupt and are causing issues.
Note: You can also run an SFC/DSM on your computer. SFC is a system file checker that scans for all files on your computer and after comparing them with the online manifest, replaces them accordingly.

That’s Project basics. Any of those ring a bell?

You should be able to double-click the AUP Project Manager File and it will find the _DATA folder, launch Audacity and open the show.

I am very confused. I do have the data folder as well as the AUP’s but when I double click an AUP file, it opens Audacity and gives me those two error messages.
In the data folder’s themselves, the AUP file is not present. I believe I had dragged them out or they were just always a separate thing. Is this correct? I read about the folder and the file but I am still hazy about that as well. Would renaming anything help? I try opening the AUP by double clicking as well as through Audacity itself but nothing seems to work. I am newer to using Audacity and could use some help. Let me know at your convenience I really appreciate it!

In general, that means the names have been changed. Control-Click the AUP file > Open With > TextEdit.
It’s going to look overwhelming with lots of semi-English computer instructions, but look down through the work and find the one projname=» entry. That is the name the show was given when it was made. Most times you can rescue the show by simply renaming the AUP and _DATA back to that name.
Here’s a «cleaned up» graphic example.
You see third line down, two thirds to the right? This has been cleaned up for illustration, but that was a simple, actual, real Project.
Also, sometimes it helps to drag everything to your desktop and try launching from there Audacity will not go looking for the _DATA folder. They have to be close to each other.

There’s also the possibility your AUP file isn’t going to look anything like that. AUP file damage happens, too.

We know it’s frustrating when things don’t work. However, please help us to help you by following these suggestions:
«User Data Folder could not be created»
I’ve recently downloaded FL Studio 20 on my computer. I also have FL Studio 12. My first problem is that every time that I open FL Studio 20 a message pops up that says:
«One or more required folders in the User data folder could not be created. FL
Studio will not be able to function correctly until this is fixed.
This could happen if the User data folder is not set correctly or Controlled
folder access is turned on in Windows 10″
I’ve made sure that «Controlled folder access» is turned OFF in my Windows 7 computer. I’ve tried resetting the «User data folder» to its default location by going into FL Studio 20, file settings, and pressing X under «User data folder». I have tried uninstalling FL Studio 20, although maybe I should try again. none of these have worked.
My second problem is that when I try to put a plugin that I’ve recently downloaded into the FX slots for my inserts, it doesn’t work. I press «FX slot», «Select», «More plugins», and a message pops up saying:
«Cannot create file «C:\Users\owner\Documents\Image-Line\FL Studio\Presets\Plugin database\Installed\Effects\Fruity\Control Surface.fst». The system cannot find the path specified.»
This message doesn’t look like its from FL Studio 20, but rather my computer instead. I’ll attach a video showing both of these messages.
